Free pattern: potholder wabi-sabi style
Cotton yarns are great for interior accessories - coasters, table runners, place mats, bowls, bags... ITO's three cotton qualities, classic Gima 8.5 and new kids Mizu and Zome Gima couldn't be more different and make combined for interesting and unusual results wabi-sabi style!
The potholder is a crochet classic that every kid crochets in school. Due to the special ITO colors and textures it gets a modern look. Worked diagonally - width and height grow simultaneously - you can decide while working what it will become.

Using one strand of each quality together throughout.

How to work a single crochet decrease
Insert your crochet hook into the next stitch and yarn over. Pull a loop through. There are now two loops on your hook. Insert the hook into the next stitch and yarn over again. Pull a loop through. There are now 3 loops on your hook. Yarn over again and pull the loop through all 3 loops on the hook. 1 stitch has been decreased.
