Welcome the misty fall mornings in this soft and light as a feather hat. The delicate lace is beautiful but easy to work.
The hat starts off with a very neat long tail tubular cast on (photo tutorial included) and a tall ribbing which can be folded in half for a more fitted beanie look. The rest of the hat is easy lace with crown decreases hidden in the lace pattern. Hold together two strands of yarn - mohair/silk and cashmere - for an interesting texture and a luxurious feel.

1 x ITO Karei (100% Cashmere; 25 g ~ 175 m / 191 yds)

1x ITO Sensai (60% Mohair, 40% Silk; 20 g ~ 240 m / 262 yds)

Gauge

25 sts x 34 rnds = 4x4’’ / 10x10 cm in 1x1 ribbing (after blocking).

Needles

ITO No. 5 号 (3,6 mm) circular needle, 40 cm (or a longer length for magic loop) / US 4 (3.5 mm) - 16’’ / 40 cm circular needles, and dpns for the crown shaping. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.
